‘El Factor X’ launches with Chino y Nacho, Belinda and Angelica Maria as judges this summer on the MundoFox network. The competition for 8-to 15-year-old solo singers and vocal acts will be chosen through a series of open auditions taking place in Los Angeles (June 8), New York (June 22) and Miami (June 29).
Mexican singer Belinda has sold over 2 million albums in the US and 16 million albums worldwide and is the third best-selling female Mexican artist. Billboard named her the “Princess of Latin Pop.” Angelica Maria, is an American-born Mexican actress and a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter. Chino y Nacho are a Latin Grammy winning Venezuelan pop duo, consisting of Jesus Alberto Miranda Perez and Miguel Ignacio Mendoza.
“We are very happy to be a part of the judges’ panel of “>El Factor X.” We really want to be able to advise and motivate the young people to fight for their dreams and we know that our advice will help them in their future endeavors as artists,” expressed Chino, while Nacho added, “It is very exciting to help and support Latino talent, especially gifted children that live in the States.”
MundoFox’s Vice President of Programming, Adriana Ibañez said, “We are confident that our judges will know how to guide and advise all participants in a warm, positive and exciting environment,” referring to Belinda and Angélica María, who also join the cast of “El Factor X” alongside Chino & Nacho.
