About the Author:
Cecilia Robles is an escapist. Her three passions in life are: traveling, literature and cinema. From a very young age she developed the strong complex of “I don’t belong”. After flying 5 years for Mexicana de Aviación, she studied cinema and Literature in Mexico, France, Spain and USA. Graduated from the CUEC, the SORBONNE and the UMA, she hung up the array of diplomas and decided to migrate to the US and study cinema at UCLA. In 2008, Cecilia wrote, produced, directed and edited two shorts CROSSROADS and BLACKOUT that screened in festivals such as LA Shorts Film festival, Chicano Film Festival, Latina Independent Film Extravaganza, Frijolywood etc. In 2009, her screenplay ALTA EXPOSICIÓN (High Exposure) granted her a writing mentorship program from NALIP, and last year, she developed the outline of a TV series called TE LA VOLASTE. She currently lives in Los Angeles and prepares the production of ALTA EXPOSICIÓN based on this novel BIENVENIDOS A BORDO.
