Continental Food and Beverage Inc. bottlers of brand Inca Kola successfully launched their new Nostalgiac Glass Bottle design at Couture Fashion Week in the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City February 16-19, 2012. Fashion Week was selected as the perfect fit for the Elegance of the new glass package. Imported directly from Lima Peru, the iconic glass bottle features a proprietary design and a formulation that uses pure cane sugar as its sweetener. “The reaction was astounding from the fashion world”, stated Luis Jardines, the company’s CEO. Astounding is an understatement as nearly 100% of the people that tried Inca Kola during the 4 days had a positive response to the brand. The most asked question was “where can I buy this”? CF&B had a mock Runway complete with the glass bottle graphic and invited guests to “show us your best runway walk”. They also provided beverages for the models in the make-up area as well as back stage in the changing area.
Continental Food and Beverage hosted the kick off reception held on Thursday Feb. 16, 2012 at the Trump World Bar in UN Plaza. They also hosted the after parties each night at Arnos on 38th Street featuring the Inca Kola Models and featuring 3 Inca Signature Cocktails. The Gold Rush – Inca Kola with Rum, The Gold Russian – Inca Kola with Vodka and The Golden Nut – Inca Kola with Coconut Rum. Designers as well as models were overwhelmed with the fresh new flavor of Inca Kola as a mixer. As a promotion CF&B gave out over 100 complimentary drink cards and they were all used. In fact many guests ordered a second and third Inca Signature Cocktail.
Couture Fashion Week featured some of the best international designers from around the globe. Names like Nedret Taciroglu from Turkey, Luis Machicao from Peru, Catalin Botezatu from Romenia, Sushma Patel from India – now based in Atlanta, Ga. And many more graced the runway in the Grand Ballroom at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in NY.
