Since debuting her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, it seems as though success just keeps chasing Cardi B. Since her debut, she’s caused massive buzz on the streets New York, earned 100 million album streams in her first week, and debuted as number one on the Billboard 200 chart.
Cardi B is on an incredible roll, and now she can add yet another score to her list of achievements, Cardi B has just surpassed Beyoncé with the highest number of songs by a solo female act charting on the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously. Beyoncé set the record in 2016, after 12 songs off her last album, Lemonade, were posted on the chart. Cardi also has 12 songs charting from her album, but her feature on Bruno Mars’ “Finesse (Remix)” was enough to put her over the top with 13 appearances total.
The record holder for highest amount of songs charting across all genders is Drake, with a massive 24 songs charting at the same time. Cardi has the potential to top this, but time will tell…with Cardi, it seems that anything is possible.
The highest charting song for Cardi currently is the Bad Bunny and J Balvin-featuring, “I Like It” at number eight, and the lowest is “Money Bag” at number 58.
We salute and applaud Cardi on all her accomplishments and we actually are not that surprised with her success, because her music is in sync with millions upon millions of people; but, also, once people see her and listen her on TV or social media being her silly self, most of them can’t help but to adore her. That’s how special she is, she has a gift, and it’s her personality, which is chuck-full-of-charisma.
