Finding time to exercise is hard, especially if you have a million things to do and the day isn’t long enough to get it all done. So why would you wake up an extra 30 or 60 minutes earlier to exercise when you really, I mean really want to sleep? Well, here are a few reasons why you should consider morning workouts.
Get That Morning Energy:
What better time of day to get a boost of energy than in the morning? Studies consistently show that exercising will improve energy and diminish fatigue. In fact, if you wake up and exercise around the same time every morning your body will adjust and prepare your blood flow, muscles, and brain waves.
Eating Right for the Whole Day:
According to researchers, most people that workout in the morning have a healthier eating habit than people that workout late or don’t workout at all. Sure, I mean, why would you go get donuts after a workout, it defeats the purpose, right?
Fast Metabolism for the Whole Day:
Exercising after work or late at night is good but you are missing out on some great morning benefits. Exercising bright and early will help you speed up your metabolism, which turns food into energy. Those workouts will rev-up your metabolism from breakfast to dinner and even some healthy snacks in-between.
Feels Good To Feel Good:
Exercising will give you a sense of accomplishment that will boost your morale. So why not have that morale-boosting positive feeling in the morning before you deal with the everyday hectic circumstances?
Time to Chill with Friends:
Don’t you hate trying to decide between friends and working out? Problem solved, morning workouts!
