In a recent gesture of appreciation and camaraderie, rapper Fat Joe welcomed former President Bill Clinton into the “Terror Squad” by gifting him a pair of custom Nike Air Force 1 sneakers. This event took place during the Clinton Global Initiative meeting that occurred from September 18 to September 20.

Fat Joe personally met with the 77-year-old politician to present him with the sneakers, emphasizing their significance. He mentioned in an Instagram video, “Special delivery. Hottest sneaker in the game. Sold out in five minutes. But if I didn’t bring it to Bill, it wouldn’t be official.”
During the encounter, someone in attendance asked if this gift made Bill Clinton an honorary member of the New York rap group, to which Fat Joe enthusiastically confirmed, “He’s an honorary member of the squad.” Fat Joe expressed his admiration for Clinton, stating, “I love you so much, man. So many years you fought for the people, and we love you. I’m a huge fan of yours. Thank you so much for all you do for us.
Bill Clinton gladly received the gift and exclaimed, “These are cool!” He promptly put on the sneakers and posed for a photo, which was shared on Fat Joe’s Instagram.
Fat Joe had been distributing these custom sneakers to various notable figures, including Sabrina Ionescu of the New York Liberty, Ashanti, Ludacris, Jadakiss, J Balvin, Lupe Fiasco, and more. The “Terror Squad” Air Force 1s were originally introduced in 2007 and were exclusively given to Fat Joe’s friends and family. They feature his initials “JC” on the heel and “TS” for Terror Squad on the sole.
