Froilan Jay has grown in the world of Bachata and has done a great exhibition. His music leads people beyond their feelings. This young man was born in the Dominican Republic in the city of Puerto Plata and came to the United States at the age of 13. He now lives in New York where he passes most of the time working hard in his musical project. From a very early age he knew what he wanted to do; he wanted to enter the world of music and provide the audience a new feel of music, a connection of the compassion of the heart and the lyrics of a song on paper and carry the message live. And just as he promised himself that he would make his dream come true, well he is making it happen.
He began like any young person who loves music: singing. From a very early age he sang the songs of Cristian Castro and Enrique Iglesias. When he came to the United States he began singing in all the families’ birthday parties celebrations. Then, he would perform in Karaokes singing songs from his favorite singers such as Alex Ubago and Sin Bandera. He then began performing in the Dominican festivals and parades. From there he recorded his first song in the studio of his apartment and began the quest of sharing his music everywhere he went, that is how he came to work with Lenny Santos.
He is currently working on his first musical record which will be titled “Mas alla del Sentimiento (Beyond Feelings). Lenny Santos, one of the members of the group Aventura, is supporting his project and producing his songs. Froilan Jay has worked with large artists such as Miguel Braho, El Torito, Anthony Santos, and many more. He has opened many shows and presentations. He has also made several appearances as a special guest on several radio stations and local programs. He has received many awards for his excellent work and great talent. He already launched some of his songs such as “Mienteme” and “Mensaje Al Corazon” (Message to the Heart) in several discos, clubs, and lounges.
As any young man with dreams, Froilán Jay never gave up and decided to continue to fulfill his dreams. “It is never too late to go after what you want”, always says the young artist. He always stays linked with his followers and fans via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. He loves to update his status to always satisfy and keep to their followers to both with the most new that makes.
