Calle 13 has made a name in the music industry as the whistle blowers against oppression in their home Island of Puerto Rico and worldwide.
Their current album, Multi Viral has spawned a video by the same name which highlights the Israeli-Palestine issue and calls for mutual resolving of this long standing problem.
Rolling Stone was so impressed by the content of this work that they named it one of the best albums, the only Latino one, in 2014 at the halfway mark of the year.
They were quoted in their publication concerning the album.
“As ambitious a hip-hop album-if that’s not too narrow a term-as any in any language.”
The Multi Viral tour has just added new dates in the U.S. taking advantage of the momentum of their latest dip in the waters of controversy.

And it does not stop there. Calle 13 will be releasing a new video “Ojos Color Sol” on July 29th. This video is co-directed by Residente and Kacho Lopez Mari. In the video will appear well known actors Gael Garcia Bernal and Maria Valverde.
