Emely Grisanty is a Latina actress from Dominican Republic that is breaking stereotypes. Although a Civil Engineer, in New York she is succeeding in following her passion for acting. Emely is the actress of “Oedipus,” a Latino theater production in an Off-Broadway scenario, in which she enacts 8 roles in a 75-minute tour de force.
The drive to reach her dreams has led her to bring Oedipus shows both for Spanish and English-speaking audiences. This is the way Emely has chosen to enforce change in the world. There is nothing else she would rather be doing, and no other form in which she would rather achieve it.
