Frankie Muniz, the former star of the hit show “Malcom in the Middle”, turns 27 today. The actor has a lot to celebrate about this birthday in light of his recent health scare.
On December 1st, while with a group of friends in Arizona, Muniz began to experience difficulty speaking and understanding. After being rushed to a hospital, it was discovered he had suffered a “mini stroke”.
The actor has undergone many changes over the last few years. Muniz traded the camera for a race-car in 2006 when he decided to become a full-time race-car driver. On October of last year, the star got engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Elycia Marie.
The star followed the Hollywood trend of actors turning musicians when he joined the indie band You Hang Up as their drummer. In 2012, he joined the York, Pennsylvania based indie band, Kingsfoil.
Although the star was set to go on tour with his band, according to Fox News, he was ordered by doctors to “take it easy”. The cause for the stroke remains unknown.
Muniz has maintained a comical attitude throughout his ordeal. He tweeted, “I suffered a ‘Mini Stroke’, which was not fun at all. Have to start taking care of my body! Getting old!”
Well, turning 27 doesn’t make you that old Frankie!
