Ivy Queen Wants to Inspire Women on New Album
Reggaetonera Ivy Queen dropped her latest album today titled, La Musa (The Muse). The 40 year old Puerto Rican artist returns with her traditional reggaeton and a combination of Caribbean rhythms which include cumbia and vallenato. Ivy is ready to start her extensive promotion for her eighth studio album and with start a series of concerts in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Friday she will begin filming the video for her single “Peligro de Extincion” in Miami which will be directed by Marlon Peña. Currently the rapper is involved in a new relationship and stated “I’m at peace, very excited, and blessed. I can’t thank my fans enough for always supporting me. It’s a real blessing.”
Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise Finalize Divorce
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ divorce has been finalized by a judge in New York on Monday. Holmes, 33, filed for divorce June 28 after 5 years of marriage with 50 year old Cruise. The couple dubbed “TomKat” was able to reach a remarkably speedy settlement a little over one week later. Holmes received primary legal and physical custody of the couple’s six year old daughter, Suri. A source close to Cruise reports that the actor is “very happy and relieved that he is moving forward … his priority is being a good father and this settlement will make sure that continues.” The marriage was the third for Cruise — he was previously married to Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman — and the first for Holmes.
