Juanes to Go One-On-One with SiriusXM Listeners during SiriusXM’s “Town Hall” moderated by Ruben Blades. With the publication of Juanes’ memoir, “Chasing the Sun,” the musicians sit down for SiriusXM’s first Latino Town Hall.
Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) today announced that Latin superstar Juanes will sit down for an intimate Q&A session with an audience of SiriusXM listeners, moderated by fellow musician, actor and activist Ruben Blades, at the SiriusXM studios in New York City as part of its “Town Hall” series.
Moderated by Blades, the “Town Hall” special will feature Juanes answering questions in front of an intimate audience of SiriusXM subscribers about his musical career and personal experiences – from his upbringing in Colombia and early days as founding member and front man for hard rock band Ekhymosis, through his multi-platinum solo career, work as a global social activist, and the writing of his upcoming book, Chasing the Sun.
“We are thrilled to have Juanes and Ruben Blades together for this special SiriusXM ‘Town Hall,’” said Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer, SiriusXM. “Our event will give SiriusXM listeners the opportunity to witness the special chemistry between two of the Spanish-speaking world’s most accomplished musicians as Juanes discusses his musical journey.”
“SiriusXM’s Town Hall with Juanes,” which will take place on Thursday, April 4, will air on SiriusXM Caliente channel 150, and SiriusXM Viva channel 500, on Friday, April 5 at 4:00 pm. All times are ET. For rebroadcast times, please visit www.siriusxm.com/townhall.
