Singer Kat Dahlia was arrested for a DUI early Tuesday morning in Miami. According to the police report Dahlia, whose real name is Katriana Huguet was pulled over for speeding at 3 AM with the headlights of her 2013 Nissan turned off. The police officer noticed a strong odor of alcohol and that Dahlia had blood shot eyes and her speech was slurred. When asked to take a sobriety test she cussed out the arresting officer and resisted arrest.
“You only assume I might be drunk because I forgot to turn my headlights on and I’m a speeder,” Dahlia said, according to the affidavit.
The “Gangsta” singer was held on $2,000 bail. The Cuban-American turned 23 the day before her arrest.
