Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Knight was immortalized at the Staples Center in Los Angeles this past Sunday, and not in a good way.
In the second quarter, Knight had the misfortune of being in front of the basket when 6-foot-11 Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan caught a pass from point guard Chris Paul in midair and finished with a right-handed slam.
After Knight ill-fatedly contested Jordan’s dunk, the 6-foot-3 guard landed on his back and has been feeling the full wrath of Twitter ever since.
Making matters worse for Knight, 21, he was actually charged with fouling Jordan, 24, on the play. Jordan, naturally left-handed, calmly sank his free throw to complete the three-point play. Los Angeles went on to rout Detroit 129-97.
