
Rhina Valentin will ride up 5th Ave in this year’s Annual National Puerto Rican Day Parade. This will be her 1st public appearance since being crowned and will afford her the opportunity to represent The Barrio, The Bronx and all other fans who have been touched by her work.
Rhina has dedicated her life and career to showcasing and presenting the arts in myriad forms. From critically acclaimed theater production “Death of a Dream” to sharing the eclectic and offbeat on her top ranked syndicated TV show OPEN, Rhina Valentin has always represented the Latin experience in America most notably in The Bronx and Spanish Harlem..
Now, Rhina will be showcased at the 54th Annual National Puerto Rican Day Parade!
Rhina Valentin will be a Special Guest and Celebrity Judge of the 54th Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade. Further, May 22, 2011 Bronx Borough President, Ruben Diaz Jr., presented Rhina Valentin with a Certificate of Merit recognizing her contributions to the arts. Rhina Valentin assisted with performances in honor of the Bronx Week 2011 Concert.
The National Puerto Rican Day Parade draws three million visitors to NYC every year and ITS GROWING. It caps off a week of Puerto Rican themed events in and around New York City highlighting the Puerto Rican people’s rich contribution to New York and the world.
When informed of the upcoming Coronation ceremony in her honor, Rhina was moved to comment “ . . . . .For, it is because of ALL of YOU, I have found my purpose in Life. My purpose being a platform, an outlet, a venue that represents the possibilities of hard work, dedication, commitment, persistence and consistence. And, I Thank You for acknowledging this.”
