The beautiful, smart and ageless actress Rosie Perez once again speaks her mind and denies all of the rumors associated with the long-standing popular daytime talk show, The View, and calls it insulting in an interview with The VIP Room.
The host of the program on FoxNewsLatinos.com, Lucia Suarez, asked the fiery Latina, Perez if the rumors of Rosie O’Donnell leaving The View, and the behind the scenes feuds between the casts the media have been reporting are true or false. Perez, with that strong Nuyorican appeal starts off with, “Let me tell you this,” she says with a serious tone.
“It is really, really, really (yes, she said really that many times. I guess she ‘really’ meant it) insulting, because you watch Meet The Press, or you watch Hardball with Chris Wallace and you watch Bill Maher and they have heated emotional debates and that’s what they are referred to as, debates. When we do it, it is called a catfight. It’s only because we’re women.”
Perez says that all the alpha ladies are passionate about the serious subjects on the show, but they are always respectful to each other. “We are putting ourselves out there and we’re sharing our opinions. But at the end of the day we all love each other and respect each other. As far as I’m concern I’m having a good time and I respect these women.”
“It has been crazy and fun,” said Perez, who has lasted two months in the talk show created by Barbara Walters in 1997. “I have two wonderful women that are helping me through it, Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O’Donnell.”
