It may be easy to focus on the destination, but as is the case with most things in life, the destination is only a portion of the journey. See, the real destination, is not visible. Travel forces us to take a closer look within ourselves, to challenge our comfort zones, and if we’re brave enough, and courages enough, it helps us dismantle the limitations that keep us from growing and reaching our full potential.
Traveling to countries like Chile, Ecuador, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and more helps us learn about different cultures. We learn about the country, its independence, its historically recognized locations, but more importantly, we learn about the people there. We are able to see the ways in which our society can improve and to notice the ways in which we can improve. Travel has the ability to put things into perspective and to show us what truly matters.
Travel, not for the sake of traveling, but to discover a part of yourself you’re not familiar with. Travel to see how others live and to hear their stories. Travel to surpass the emotional challenges that keep you grounded. Travel to grow.
