George is 20 years old and is currently a Junior in the Hofstra University School of Communications Film Program. He wrote, cast, shot and edited this film short when he was 19. He explained that his short “My Angel” allowed him to explore the reality and consequences of addiction through film. Hoping that the message that addictions lead people to make bad choices and those decisions can have severe consequences – and only after acknowledging such problems can someone move forward. My Angel allows the viewers to see through the eyes of someone addicted to alcohol and how they view such as their “angel” or savior, until they come to terms with such and then realize that it is actually their downfall.
