Having boxed as a professional since the age of 15, the 31-year-old has understandably amassed a huge fortune during his glittering career, but nothing matters more to him than championship Belts.
That is not to say he does not enjoy the spoils of war, with his sprawling mansion in his hometown of Guadalajara a perfect example of just how well the four-weight world champion lives.
“I didn’t study, I come from very modest beginnings. But I like to learn, I like to learn many things. I have a lot going on, right now, I could retire and I could live, you know, peacefully, but I love boxing. It’s my life, so I am not ready to do that yet”.
Canelo has an array of investments in real estate, a promotional company, an app, and last year he started “Canelo Energy” in which he owns 100 gasoline stations throughout Mexico.

His Investments produce more than $1.5 Million a month for him. Canelo says he likes business and wants to dedicate full time towards this when he retires.
