To some Pablo Escobar was a ruthless criminal. To others, he was a noble saint, but to Sebastián Marroquín (formally Juan Pablo Escobar), he was one thing above all others: a father. Sins of My Father, Entel’s second documentary, takes you inside the world of the most notorious drug trafficker of the modern era, from a new perspective: the voice of his only son. Returning to Colombia from his exile in Argentina for the first time since the death of his father, Sebastián reaches out to the sons of his father’s most prominent murder victims in an attempt to close wounds which, extending beyond three families, have darkened the history of their native land.
