Eva Longoria and husband, Tony Parker, were in Washington DC this week
for the 33rd Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Annual Awards
Gala. That’s quite a mouthful.
Barack and Michelle Obama were also in attendance at the event, where
Ms. Longoria received the Medallion of Excellence award for her
philanthropy and work with the Latino community. She is involved with
many charities including the nation’s largest Hispanic rights
organization, National Council of La Raza.
Solomon Ortiz, the dean of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, praised
the Mexican-American actress: “Eva represents many of us through her
work in the film industry and through her dedication to philanthropy.”
Judging from the pictures Eva and Tony engaged in a little dinner
table PDA. In front of the president no less. Nothing wrong with a
little celebration, right? Get it, girl!
