Former “Aventura” member Henry Santos is in the process of recording a second solo album to be released in 2013. The untitled album will be bringing him back to his bachata roots and also includes blends of tango, merengue and electronica. Henry said that his first album as a soloist, “Introducing Henry Santos” had his “stamp” of originality and other rhythms apart from bachata. The singer-songwriter even hinted that there could be some live shows to go along with it. Santos who won Univison’s “Mira Quien Baila” in November stated “I also add all the experience of ‘Mira Quien Baila,’ where I grew as a person, and I grew even as a composer because every time you bathe yourself in positive things, you grow.” The show gave him the chance to learn “much more” about dance and said “I will incorporate from now on to be a more complete artist.” The upcoming album already has one single “My Way” completed which should be released in early January plus six songs completed. The new song has a co-writing credit from Aventura alum Lenny Santos and a finished video.
