Javier Bardem who portrays villain Silva to Daniel Craig’s Agent 007 in Skyfall, received the 2,484th star on Hollywood’s Walk Of Fame on Thursday. The Oscar winner celebrated along with his “Skyfall” co-stars Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris and director Sam Mendes, who stated how Bardem was “so embarrassed” to receive the honor. While accepting his Walk of Fame honor the 43-year-old actor poked fun at his crooked nose, which he once broke in a bar fight. He joked, “Javier Bardem Day. That’s so cool. And what’s that like? Does everyone have to walk with a broken nose around Hollywood Boulevard?” His wife Penelope Cruz received her star on April 1, 2011, just a few yards away. “It’s a coincidence due to the years when the two stars were installed that they ended up together. It’s a beautiful coincidence, it’s very nice. It’s an honor to receive it and one accepts it gratefully,” said Bardem. Next year the actor will appear in “The Counselor,” alongside Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz. Congratulations Javier Bardem!
