Colombian rocker Juanes performed Monday night on “Dancing With the Stars” Latin night. The superstar sang a medley of his hits, including “La Camisa Negra” and “Cumbia Sexy.” The remaining seven couples danced to Latin hits.
Juanes assured he will be crossing over and singing in English on his next album.
“Now I can sing in English easier than before,” he said backstage. “Probably I’m going to do some tracks. Maybe four.”
Juanes is continuing his crossover into the mainstream rapidly. The Los Angeles Times reported that Juanes will kickoff his Loud and Unplugged Tour this spring, including a May 25 engagement at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, as well as concert dates in Bakersfield (May 17), San Francisco (May 18), Fresno (May 19), Sacramento (May 22) and San Diego (May 26).
“This has been one of the most gratifying years of my career in terms of creativity,” Juanes said, reports the Huffington Post. “Playing live every night in this style, so close and personal with my fans, will be a great pleasure.”
