Karol G just hit a major milestone—two of her very own wax figures have been unveiled at the world-famous Madame Tussauds museum! The Colombian superstar was front and center at the reveal in New York City, where she was clearly moved by seeing both wax versions of herself.

The first figure captures her vibrant blue-haired look from her 2022 Coachella performance, complete with a Colombian-inspired outfit that fans loved. The second figure showcases her fiery red hair from the music video for “TQG,” her hit collaboration with Shakira.
In a press statement, Karol expressed her excitement: “Wow, this is incredible! My first thought was how much I love the way they captured my smile and the color of my eyes. I hope when fans meet these figures, it feels like a sign that one day they’ll meet me in real life.”

For now, the Coachella-inspired figure will remain at the Madame Tussauds in Times Square. Meanwhile, the “TQG” wax figure will be headed to the Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas by the end of October.
“Karol G is one of the greatest Latina performers of our time,” said Eliza Rose, the marketing manager for Madame Tussauds New York. “Her wax figures are a fantastic addition to our collection and reflect not only her talent and influence but also the love her fans have for her.”

The “Bichota” singer, who’s currently a 17-time finalist for the 2024 Billboard Latin Music Awards, continues to make waves. Her hit “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” has dominated the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart for 12 weeks straight. Now, Karol G joins the ranks of other Latin music icons like Maluma, Anitta, Selena, Bad Bunny, and Shakira, who also have their own wax figures.
