Back by popular demand, master tres-guitar player Yuniel Jimenez and his band “El Guajiro” bring their modernized son and youthful energy to the stage at SOB’s on Friday, January 31!
Straight from Cuba to New York City, Yuniel Jimenez brought with him not only his tres-guitar, but a piece of the country side of Cuba to the Big Apple and describes his experience in the single and album title track “Un Guajiro en Nueva York.”
This latest 12-track album describes the young Cuban singer-songwriter’s personal life in Cuba and outside of Cuba. This is an album that everyone will enjoy with a beautiful sound of the tres on a son that will make you dance! World renowned musicians that participated with Yuniel on “Un Guajiro en Nueva York” are: Pavel Urguiza, Luisito Quintero, Yunior Terry, Yusnier Sanchez, Jerry Medina Carrion and Helena Aparicio.
