Former Roman Catholic priest Alberto Cutié announced recently that he and wife Ruhama were expecting a second child. The couple shares two children, 1-year old Camila Victoria, and 17-year old Christian Norton (from Ruhama’s previous relationship).
The couple still seems to be going strong amidst the scandals that had the former priest on the front pages. It was in 2009 that Cutié was stigmatized by the public after pictures of Ruhama and he kissing surfaced. Consequently, he left the Roman Catholic Church. Cutié married his wife soon after and became an Episcopal priest in May 2010.
The Cuban father expressed joy at the news of his wife’s pregnancy. In a recent interview he stated the baby was a gift from Jesus, and further commented, “It’s the best Christmas present that we could receive.”
The couple will reportedly learn the baby’s sex in mid-January. Congratulations on their next “cutie”!
