Last Sunday thousands of joyful Latin Americans and other ethnic communities in New York City cheered and celebrated with their patriotic flags waving high as they marched up Fifth Avenue for the 50th Annual Hispanic Day parade.
More than 200 organizations representing 20 Latin American countries, Spain and other ethnic populations, such as the Jewish and Irish groups marched, danced and rode in their heavily decorated floats up Fifth Ave. Parade organizers expected 800 thousand spectators to show up but word on the crowded streets that there were close to a million supporters celebrating the end of Hispanic Heritage Month 2014.
To commemorate such a great event, here are some great photos of the 50th Annual Hispanic Day parade 2014.
