Puerto Rican music star
Ricky Martin has reportedly chosen an Upper East Side condo to reside in while he stars in the Broadway play “Evita”, for $32,500 per month in rent.
The apartment, one of many in the Lucida building, boasts 3,478 square feet and floor-to-ceiling windows. According to sources, the condo has five rooms, five bathrooms, and a dining/living room.
Reports say Martin is expected to be in the city for a year or more until his run in the Broadway production ends. The star will be playing “Che” in the play alongside Argentine actress Elena Roger. Tickets went on sale in October.
NY fans of the singer better keep their eyes open; Martin just might be around the corner! Previews for the show begin in March 2012.
