The Miss Mexico Organization in partnership with Puente Productions, jointly announced today a casting call for Señorita Mexico U.S. 2011 pageant on June 25 and 26, 2011 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Starlight Bowl. Featuring guest emcee and Senorita Mexico U.S. 2010, Mariana Rios, the casting call will include “LIVE ON STAGE: BRING IT,” a pageant walk-off, photo contest, pageant coaching, and door prize event—including a blog and twitter table.
On Friday night June 24 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Puente Productions will kick off the three-day party with its PAGEANTMANIA Expo, a V.I.P. event where fashion, health and fitness retailers, designers, media and social media mavens will discover emerging trends.
The San Diego pageant casting team will choose over 20 women, representing different Mexican cities and states to be part of The Señorita Mexico U.S. 2011 pageant, which will take place on September 10, 2011 at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas.
“We are looking for a dynamic group of Spanish-fluent Latinas of Mexican heritage, 18 to 27 years of age — from Baja through Southern California — who are articulate, fun, elegant and beautiful,” said Marco Puente, C.E.O. of Puente Productions. “Pageant experience is a plus but not necessary.”
After the contestants are selected, they will receive training and preparation from Marco Puente, choreographer, pageant consultant and C.E.O. of Puente Production, so the contestants will be ready to travel to Las Vegas for a week with all travel expenses included. Puente Productions, who most recently produced the first annual Miss Cinco de Mayo 2011 pageant for Old Town San Diego, is the premiere theatrical producer for both the U.S. and Mexican pageant system.
