The 2013 Emmy Awards were announced today and some of our favorite Latinos made the list! Sofia Vergara received her fourth consecutive nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on “Modern Family.” “Modern Family” received a nomination for “Outstanding Comedy Series,” as well as 11 more nominations.
Louis C.K. also received his fourth nomination for “Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series” for his FX series “Louie,” which was also nominated for best comedy series. The Mexican-American actor also was nominated for “Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series” for his job as director of the show and “Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy” for Saturday Night Live.
Brazilian actress Morena Baccarin is nominated for her role as Jessica Brody in the Showtime’s series “Homeland”.
The Emmys will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris Sunday, Sept. 22 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on CBS.
