If there’s any place that has Argentines and non-Argentines alike going crazy for, it’s La Esquina Criolla.
Unlike other Argentine restaurants, it serves a little bit of everything Latino, as well as Argentine staples like morcillo and vacio a la parrilla. The Parrillada Completa Para 2 is perfect for dates. That is served with skirt steak, short rib, sweetbread, tripe, kidney, black and Argentina sausage.
If you just want some pasta, have some ravioles and noquis. La Esquina also serves sandwiches like molleja (sweet breads), chorizo, or just simple salami and cheese. And last, but not least, Argentine wine is served.
La Esquina Criolla resides in Corona, Queens, corner of Junction Blvd and Corona Ave. Great for groups and kids. It offers waiter service and does take out, but not delivery. You’d be spending anywhere from $11 to $30.
