Ariana Grande set to release new Album & Single

Ariana Grande’s highly anticipated album will soon be released, but before then her latest single from the album Focus is set to be released this Friday, October 30th.

On Sunday, the Break Free singer debuted a 16-second sampler of the new single on her Twitter account. The latest reveal follows the one made on Instagram account early this month in-which the Scream Queen star showed off her new silvery locks of hair.

Focus will be the first single from Grande‘s newest album Moonlight–which is the title of another song on the album as well as a possibly reason as to why the singer is now donning silver-like-the-moon hair.

Along with the Twitter debut, the singer also gave fans a brief snippet of the track during the commercial of her new fragrance Ari in-which we see the singer channeling a 60s vibe while attempting to hail a New York City Taxi.

Not much detail has been revealed on the upcoming album, but Grande has given some insight to fans stating the inspiration for the new album came from her own grandmother.

Until the release of the album, fans can catch Grande as her post-mortem character Chanel No.2 as she returns to FOX’s Scream Queens in an upcoming episode. The singer makes her return thanks to her Kappa Kappa Tau sisters performing a séance to try and contact her spirit.

You can expect Grande’s Focus to be released on October 30th, 2015.

Ariana Grande’s licks Doughnuts, Says she hates America then Apologizes

Well, it seems like Ariana Grande’s doughnut licking incident is truly one last problem she has to worry about amongst her fans.

During the most American of weekends—4th of July weekend, Grande was caught on surveillance camera in Wolfee Donuts located in Lake Elsinore, California licking several donuts on display and angrily uttering “I hate America,” after a worker placed more donuts on display. Acts that are considered quite unusual—according to a selective few—for the little singing diva.

Since the incident became public and went viral, Grande has somewhat given an apology citing that the licking of donuts and her anti-America/American statement was “I am EXTREMELY proud to be an American and I’ve always made it clear that I love my country…What I said in a private moment with my friend, who was buying the donuts, was taken out of context,” and that as a health advocate obesity in children within this country is far too high so she was saving them…the last part is partially paraphrased.

Seeing that her original apology was getting her nowhere, the former Nickelodeon star gave a second apology via video and admitted in her that she “just wanted to make a video to apologize again for the whole doughnut fiasco and craziness because I feel like the apology I posted, I was…I like kind of missed my opportunity to actually sincerely apologize and express how I was feeling because I was too busy preaching about my issues with the food industry, which is, like, not, I feel like, relative.

I was so disgusted with myself. I, like, shoved my face in a pillow and wanted to disappear. But instead of that I’m gonna come forward and own up to what I did and take responsibility and say I’m sorry because I reacted in a way that I feel like wasn’t necessary, to say the least, but also just wasn’t me at all.

While some have condemned Grande and her apology, others have either forgiven or accepted it. Especially her fans who have taken the incident and turned it into what mostly everyone is doing today and turned it into a hashtag.

Taking to their Instagrams or Twitter, Grande’s fans are posting photos of themselves licking donuts emojis with the added hashtag: #LickDonutsWithAri.

The singer has yet to respond to the newest trend, but despite stating herself she is disgusted by her own antics it is kind of interesting to note how her fans are trying to just make light of it.

As repercussion to licking the doughnuts, Grande isn’t facing any criminal charges. According to the sheriff’s department in Lake Elsinore, the doughnut shop’s owners declined to press charges against the star and the incident was only document to aid the Department of Environmental Health.

While legally she wasn’t charged, Grande may have been ousted from the MLB All-Star Game concert in-which she was scheduled to perform but was replaced by Demi Lovato. Despite the doughnut fiasco, being removed from the concert was allegedly Grande’s own doing for oral surgery. Allegedly.

So what have we learned from this doughnut incident? If you’re famous and do something disgusting and unpatriotic that would get others into far more trouble…you’ll get a funny hashtag for it.

Gloria Estefan Wants Ariana Grande Play Her on Broadway!

¿Como fue?

Grammy Award winner, the Latin Icon, la Reina de Miami, Gloria Estefan and her husband and business partner/producer Emilio Estefan are working on a Broadway musical about their life and incredible musical career.

According to a press release, the musical, is “the story of two people who—through an unwavering dedication to one another and their pursuit of the American dream—showcased their talent, their music and their heritage to the world in a remarkable rise to global superstardom.” It will feature such hits as “Rhythm Is Gonna Get You,” “1-2-3,” “Mi Tierra,” and “Conga,” in addition to new music penned by the Estefans.

Gloria recently told the New York Daily News that pop singer Ariana Grande is top on her list of actresses to portray her in ‘On Your Feet’ the Broadway-bound musical based on Estefan’s life story.

Ariana Grande would be somebody wonderful,” Estefan said. “I saw her when she was eight years old on a cruise ship and she had sung this song, and I literally went up to her and told her and her mom, ‘I don’t know if you plan on doing this, but this is what you need to be doing because you are an amazing singer.‘”

The Ariana Grande just released her second album, “My Everything.” She is also known for her television performances in “Sam and Cat” and “Victorious.” However with Ms.Grande’s busy schedule due to her popular demand, will she have time to do a Broadway musical, will the little-miss Diva even want to do it?

The musical, which will explore the life and music of Gloria Estefan and her husband, producer-musician-entrepreneur Emilio Estefan, will have a book by two-time Drama Desk nominee Alexander Dinelaris.

The production has also launched an international casting search, Reach Gloria (#ReachGloria), which offers performers around the world a chance to audition for all roles in the musical by submitting audition videos online at

Finding the right performers to tell our story on the Broadway stage is the most important step in this project,” said Gloria Estefan in a statement. “Our own journey together started in Miami, a city that has been such an inspiration to us both, and it only felt right that the city be a cornerstone of our search for the next generation of bright talent.”

Emilio Estefan added, “On Your Feet! is a piece that speaks to people of every culture around the world. We’ve seen audiences from South America to Asia, and everywhere in between, be moved by our music and we want each and every one of them to have a chance to be a part of this story and show their talent to the world.

The musical “On Your Feet!” will be directed by Jerry Mitchell, who also directed “Kinky Boots”. The show is due to begin previews in New York at the Marquis Theatre on October 2015 after a summer stop in Chicago.
