Thalia shares her life, thoughts, and feelings with the public in her new book Growing Stronger. The autobiography contains first hand testimonies from the star regarding her career, her family, and her experiences with other celebrities.
The telenovela star, who is married to Sony executive Tony Mottola, has been through the ringer over the past years of her life. In 2002, her two sisters, actress Laura Zapata and Ernestina Sodí were kidnapped in Mexico City and released shortly after. Last year the Mexican singer/actress’s mother, Yolanda Miranda, passed away merely a month before the birth of her son.
In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Thalia expressed her purpose in writing the tell-all book. “I thought it was an important time to share my story, my good and my bad experiences…in hopes that, in some way, my experiences can help the lives of others,” she said. “It was very hard for me to put my life on paper…It was very refreshing.”
Growing Stronger is Thalia’s third publication and is now available in book stores.
