The NYS Office for New Americans (ONA) is looking for skilled bilingual New Yorkers ready to assist their community to recover more quickly in case of emergencies like Hurricane Sandy.

Through the ONA Opportunity Center network, ONA joins the New York State’s Regional Volunteer Centers in New York City, Long Island, and the Mid-Hudson region in recruiting bilingual skilled-professionals such as: social workers, interpreters, insurance experts, engineers, health professionals and other individuals who have specialized skills who could help their community recover from a future disaster.
