Disney channel star Bella Thorne will be starring in the movie “Frenemies” alongside costar and best friend Zendaya Coleman. The part-Cuban actress is known for her role as Cece Jones in the series “Shake it Up!”.
The plot follows two teenage girls who are born and raised in completely different economic circumstances. After discovering they are twins who were separated at birth, the girls decide to switch lives for a week. The film proceeds to present the conflicts the two characters face in their friendships.
The film will not be the first for the young actress. Thorne began making appearances in films at the ripe age of 6. The star has also recorded three singles for Disney.
“Frenemies” is currently being filmed in Toronoto. It is set to be released in 2012.
