Rojas’ newest CD titled Salsa Roja brings in the many dimensions of the soul, while the name of the CD comes from a sultry dance out of Cuba. Further, the music comes from Latin America which is one of the most musically diverse regions in the world. This CD includes some well-known composers like Vincent Lindsey-Clark, a British guitarist, Quique Sinesi of Argentina, and Julio César Oliva of Mexico.
Musicians make music in order for people to listen and understand what they mean. Several songs have a really deep meaning that signify a new life, graduation, or most the common thing talked about is love. The titles of the tracks have themes that share this meaning and Rojas’ music is no different with a bold attempt and ability to push the music envelope.
