Captain America: The Winter Soldier is quite possibly the best Marvel cinematic movie they have ever produced! The storyline is relatable and relevant to the high security world we live in post 9/11.
The fighting scenes are fun to watch especially when the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) is kicking butt… and Chris Even’s portrayal of Captain America’s physic and strength is perfection!
The Storyline:
Steve Rogers, ‘Captain America’, is still struggling to find his place in the modern world, and he’s conflicted performing black ops missions with the intelligence agency S.H.I.E.L.D., whose motives– and leader Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) seem more questionable than ever.
As the truth behind S.H.I.E.L.D.’s new plan– policing the world via three massive, heavily weaponized airships– comes to light, Captain America is quickly embroiled in a massive conspiracy, one that leaves him a fugitive with no one to trust. Complicating matters further is the Winter Soldier; a mysterious and brutally deadly assassin with very personal past ties to Rogers himself.
Brooklyn born Maximiliano Hernández of Honduran descent takes the role of Agent Jasper Sitwell who is part of a top-secret Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Robert Redford plays Alexander Goodwin Pierce, a senior S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who might know more about the sudden appearance of the Winter Soldier and HYDRA’s infiltration of S.H.I.E.L.D. than he lets on
As Captain America navigates the sea of secrets within the S.H.I.E.L.D. in which he finds himself, he is joined by fellow Avenger the Black Widow, as well as a new ally, The Falcom, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie). With his small team assembled, it’s up to Cap to stop the sinister plot being orchestrated by S.H.I.E.L.D.
This is a very entertaining and action-packed film that will leave you filled with adrenaline!
