Before the award show held this Sunday at a pre-Golden Globes event, the Not Myself Tonight singer & Burlesque star Christina Aguilera wanted to give a beat down to fellow Burlesque co-star and Dancing with the Stars dancer Julianne Hough. The incident occurred on Friday at a party being held at the Soho House in West Hollywood attended by other celebrities like Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Ryan Seacrest, and Julia Roberts.
According to a source Aguilera was not happy about seeing Hough and “really got into her face,” unleashing a throat-belting verbal assault on the dancer. At one point it is claimed that Aguilera even grabbed onto Hough who demanding the Genie in a Bottle singer to not touch her. Before being separated, Aguilera was reportedly heard promising to destroy Hough’s country singing career leaving her “visibly upset” by what just happen.
A rep for Aguilera describes the report as being “nonsense,” while no rep for Hough could be reached for a comment. There still isn’t any word on what went down between the two, however it’s been long rumored that there has been animosity between the two during the filming of Burlesque. Maybe if a camera had been rolling backstage the movie would have been bearable with all the alleged drama going on.
