Color Me Badd crooner Bryan Abrams was arrested in Hawaii this week after an argument with his wife took a violent turn. The ‘I Wanna Sex You Up’ star is accused of throwing his wife across a room, according to various reports, including a police blotter story in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
Police in nearby Waikiki took Abrams into custody on Tuesday and booked him on suspicion of harassment. He was then released on his own recognizance. The woman’s name has not been released.
The 40-year-old Abrams performed a concert on Saturday with the recently re-formed Color Me Badd (really?! WHY?!), which had major hits in the early 1990s with slow jams like ‘I Adore Mi Amor’ (with the bound-for-immortality line: “Te Quiero Mucho, Baby. Te Quiero Mucho, Mi Amor”…) and ‘All for Love.’
Abrams has been arrested once before for domestic abuse. In 2008, he was accused of punching a girl in the nose and yelling “I’m-a kill you!”
