It’s been a great year for some of our favorite Latin artists. The 2013 Grammy nominations were announced in which Juanes’ MTV Unplugged was nominated for “Best Latin Pop Album,” along with the duo Jesse y Joy,Ricardo Arjona, Fonseca, and Kany Garcia. Romeo Santos’ debut album Formula Vol. 1 is a contender for “Best Tropical Album of the Year” against Raúl Lara Y Sus Soneros, Eddie Montalvo, and Marlow Rosado Y La Riqueña. Ana Tijoux was nominated for “Best Latin Rock” album for “La Bala” and Lila Downs’ Pecados y Milagros made it on the list for “Best Regional Mexican” album. Esperanza Spalding received a nod for “Best Jazz Vocal” for her album “Heads Up International.” Here’s the list of Latin artist nominees but for the official nominee list check out Grammy.com. The big award show kicks off February 10 on CBS.
