Its not just about losing weight for 2015 it is more about staying healthy. And this frigid weather has scared you to go to the gym or the park for your daily workout routine. Don’t fret; you can still get a very good workout at home without the use of any equipment. Here are some great at home workouts for women and men to stay fit and healthy in this very cold weather.
At Home Workout Routines:
1) Jump Rope:
The American Heart Association highly recommends at least 30-minutes of moderate walking a day to improve cardiovascular health. But if you cannot go outside then pick-up your jump rope at home and feel that energy increase once your blood and oxygen flows smoothly to-and-from your heart. Jump Rope workout routines will exercise your shoulders, back and legs and will increase your stamina while burning that excess body fat.
2) Leg Workouts:
Leg workouts are great at home workouts that will help you tone your muscles and burn calories to slim down for the summer. Exercises like lunges, squats or stepups will target your glutes (butt), thighs and hamstrings to strengthen your legs and tone and tighten your rear.
3) Push Ups:
Push up exercises are not just for soldiers in the arm forces, it is also for anybody and everybody that wants to improve upper body strength while increasing cardio stamina and develop lean muscles. If you can’t do more than five push-ups then try doing them with your knees on the ground while your hands – flat on the floor – are spread wider than your shoulders. This exercise targets your back, arms and shoulders.
4) Ab Workouts:
Summer is coming and your abs is still jiggling from the holiday feast. Sit up exercises – when done right – will strengthen your core and create lean muscles. But many exercise professionals believe that exercises like crunches and sit-ups are not needed to build, tone and strengthen your abs. Variations in planking, exercises for hips and waists and leg raises are just as effective and less strenuous to the neck than the basic sit-ups and crunches.
