On February 2nd, Hennessy celebrated the third year of their “Never Stop. Never Settle.” campaign, which is New York City’s biggest Super Bowl after-party and just as exclusive as the top shelf cognac. Upon entering the venue you were greeted by a montage of photographers anxiously awaiting the arrival of celebrities. A few floors up celebrities and guests were greeted by gorgeous models handing out signature Hennessy cocktails. How can anyone say no to a pretty smile and a free drink? After trying them, it was a difficult decision but my absolute favorite was the Orange Crush.
After walking down the aisle of beautiful women, you’re led into the nicely red lit lounge area with an amazing view of the city, plenty of photo ops and are greeted by fresh face New York Socialites. DJ Mark Ronson and DJ White Shadow captivated the crowd with their amazing mix of music before the actual show started.
I danced my way through the crowd until I reached the stage where the beautiful songstress Kelly Rowland opened the night’s festivities. Besides the fact that I’m a huge Kelly Rowland fan; she worked that stage! She Showcased her latest hit songs along with some old school favorites from her Destiny Child days. Fantasia Barrino was one of the celebrity guests who graced us with an appearance during Kelly’s performance last night.
In true New York Fashion the award winning rapper Nas brought down the house as the headlining performance for the night. Nas performed tracks from his legendary Illmatic album accompanied by a six-piece band.
Overall Hennessy put on a spectacular event that had all the fixings of a top notch exclusive VIP event! The celebrity infused “Never Stop. Never Settle.” campaign was a legendary night and made a more lasting impression than the actual Super Bowl!
