Hardcore telenovela fans, there is no longer a need to worry about missing an episode now. Just log on to Hulu and get caught up!
Hulu recently launched its Hulu Latino service which, according to the website, offers “The most robust and complete Spanish-language content library available through an online video service in the U.S.”
The new service will allow users to view primetime and other Latino programming the day after airing, for no cost. Shows to be found on the site include “La Fuerza del Destino”, “Protagonistas”, “Aqui y Ahora”, and “Noche de Perros”. Beginning in 2012, the site will also include programming from the 11 new Spanish language networks Disney, NBC Universal, and Providence Equity Partners recently partnered with.
In a recent blogpost regarding the site’s new service, Hulu’s senior vp wrote, “Today, we are offering another passionate, engaged and tech-savvy audience a deep library of current season and classic content never before available online and on-demand.”
Like many major media companies today, Hulu is attempting to reach out to the ever-growing bilingual community. Muchas gracias!
