The New York Giants will have their 21-17 victory celebrated tomorrow with a parade starting at Battery Place & Washington Street at 11am, traveling uptown along the Canyon of Heroes, stopping at Worth Street. The team will be presented with a key to the city by Mayor Bloomberg. This is a ticker-tape event, and tickets are unfortunately no longer available.
But don’t fret — the sidewalk lining of the parade will be open to the public while the ceremony at City Hall Plaza will be for ticket holders only. In February 2008, the Giants had their Super Bowl over the New England Patriots. An additional celebration will be held in MetLIfe Stadium in East Rutherford for Big Blue, as tweeted by NJ Gov. Chris Christie.
NJ Transit will also be beefed up during AM and PM rush hours, as possible attendees are encouraged to take mass transit.
