On December 13th, Johnnie Walker celebrated My Label is Black in Miami at a star-studded event headlined by three celebrity influencers who are also the faces of a current Johnnie Walker campaign — multi-platinum Grammy-winner Don Omar, Major League All-Star and World Series Champion Jorge Posada and radio host and nightlife icon Alex Sensation. The Miami event was a private, invitation-only event, where Alex Sensation brought the house down with an electrifying DJ performance, followed by Don Omar who closed the night with a spectacular performance of some of his most popular songs. Jorge Posada also attended.

Johnnie Walker My Label is Black celebrates the Hispanic community by supporting and mentoring men on the journey to achieve their true potential. Involving several key elements, the platform includes engagement with iconic celebrity influencers, an advertising campaign, partnerships with leading charitable organizations in New York, Miami and Los Angeles, and consumer events. Johnnie Walker has forged alliances with organizations that are equally committed to this important message. Through My Label is Black, Johnnie Walker made an initial donation of $50,000 to SER and CareerGear charities and will work with them through the implementation phase of the funds, leading dedicated workshops and personal life / job skills coaching for Latino men.
