Selena Gomez recently revealed that her mother, Mandy Dawn Cornett, and stepfather, Brian Teefey, are expecting a child. The star took to twitter to make the big announcement. She wrote, “Momma and Brian are finally letting me share the news…My mommy’s carrying my baby brother or sister. I’m the happiest girl in the world.”
The baby would be Gomez’s first sibling. The star’s parents divorced when she was a mere five years of age. She was raised by her mother, who remarried Teefey in 2006. The child will be the first for the couple.
The date of arrival for the baby has not been released, but the actress and singer has made it clear the entire family is ready for the new addition. Gomez’s fans must be excited for the star too as “Congrats Selena” is now one of the top 10 trending topics on Twitter.
