There’s a new fad amongst Latina women…ANAL BLEACHING.
Now, for obvious reasons, we can’t post a picture of anal bleaching here.
But here are the facts and figures about anal bleaching:
- Anal bleaching is the process of lightening the skin around the anus. It is done for cosmetic purposes, to make the skin color there more consistent with the surrounding area.
- It first became popular with adult actresses and other entertainers, but spread to mainstream film stars once Hollywood became more accepting of nudity in films.
- In the early 2000’s, Brazilian waxing became extremely popular for many reasons, such as the popularity of smaller swimsuits and lingerie, and because of the spread of pornography in the mainstream (much of today’s pornography features women who are completely hairless). Once Brazilian waxing uncovered previously unseen parts of the female body, many women were embarrassed that the color of their private area did not match the rest of their bodies. These women began to look for a solution.
- There are several ways to carry out the anal lightening process. The most common, safe and reliable method is to simply use a lightening cream or gel to target the darkened anal and genital area and gradually fade the darkened area over time.
- Face to Face NYC was one of the first spas in New York to introduce anal beaching to the city — after its owner, Enrique, traveled to Los Angeles, and noticed the popularity of it over there.
- Enrique states that about 70% of all clients that order this treatment are Latinas.
