Time Warner Cable continued its celebration of New York City’s Hispanic community by supporting the Ecuadorian Parade, held August 5 in Jackson Heights, Queens. Time Warner Cable added to the parade’s festive atmosphere by playing music by singers Riccardo Perotti, Judy Olvera and Kike Vega. Perotti and Olvera rode in the company’s branded car as it traveled the parade route on Northern Boulevard.
Time Warner Cable’s sponsorship of the parade was part of its ‘Enjoy Queens Better’ campaign, which celebrates the borough’s rich culture and diversity. Recently held Time Warner Cable events included appearances by professional football player Victor Cruz to help launch his new book, “Victor Cruz: Out of the Blue,” as well as sponsorships of the Colombian Day Parade and the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival.
“We are very proud to support this parade to help celebrate the many contributions that the Ecuadorian community has made to New York City,” said Alessandra Otero-Reiss, Vice President of Multicultural Marketing for Time Warner Cable’s East Region. “We thank Olympusat and its promotional agency, Opcion 3, for arranging to bring these talented Ecuadorian singers to ride in our car and see many of the fans they have here in Queens. We look forward to keep supporting our communities throughout Queens and New York City.”
