After this month of bearing this icy weather I realized it’s been months since I have gotten my salsa on; and after hours of trolling the internet I stumbled upon this gem of an event!
This Friday at the Brooklyn Night Bazaar get ready to warm up your night and dance the night away. Featuring the stunning 11-piece band Williamsburg Salsa Orchestra. The WSO plays lively Dura arrangements of indie rock tunes we all love with an effervescent aesthetic.
Witness New York City’s only band Spanglish Fly that is dedicated to revitalizing and renewing the Latin Bugalu, with their explosive sound and high energy. WEPA! I’m already channeling my inner Iris Chacon! If you were looking for something a little more gritty and soulful, Los Hacheros are also a featured 5 musician band.
DJ Mikey Perez will be spinning a blend of Caribbean, Latin and African music from the late 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Get ready to be amazed by these dynamic groups ready to touch your soul and get you moving! There is no catch here my fellow salseros y salseras this event is FREE! All ages are welcome and the doors open at 6 PM.
